Today’s global market and intense competition demands sustained quality efforts to support the complexities of supply chain management. Hence, it is becoming increasingly necessary to adapt to changing customer expectations and ensurequality service along with lean and agile supply chain and logistics management for our esteemed customers.

At DIESL, we strive hard to deliver quality and standardization in our logistics services. Having built a quality conscious culture over the years and strong process driven operations, we constantly evaluate and improve our ‘Quality System’ to excel in and benchmark our operations. Our quality system has undergone many vigorous revisions that have proved its effectiveness in terms of excelling not only in operations but also process optimizations which are the unprecedented guide of our business.

DIESL, one of the leading 3PL companies in India, is an ISO 9001:2008, OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004 (EMS) certified organization. ‘Caliper Index’ which is an ultimate measurement matrix of our internal quality system, comprises of various elements of best in class quality tools i.e ISO, OHSAS, EMS, Six Sigma, 5S and Lean. All DIESL warehouses and operating locations undergo the assessment to receive a ‘Caliper Index Score’ which is a yardstick to evaluate the performance as well as to conduct the internal benchmarking. The audits are conducted by a pool of certified Internal Auditors who are also well versed with our operations and customer expectations.

After assessment, the analysis of results for every warehouse helps us to come up with improvement areas. The common improvement areas are driven at organisation level in the form of CIPs (Continuous Improvement Programs) as part of ‘Organizational Strategic Initiatives’. Apart from these CIPs, warehouse specific improvement initiatives are also driven at warehouse level. We ensure that all the non-conformities are mandatorily being closed within a stipulated time period. To sustain the improvements and productivity of operations, the training needs are also identified during assessment process and adequate training is provided to bridge the capability gap.
