A leading water and air purification manufacturer based in India was facing huge hassles to manage its supply chain before associating with DIESL as the companyís sales department was carrying the activity of supply chain. The client faced huge losses due to excessive damage to paper reels that are heavy weight inventories imported from across South East Asia. DIESL therefore took over in-plant operations and logistics for the client. Damages were traced and categorized into groups so that specific supply chain solutions could be designed and gave training to ground staff handling the reels. DIESL also mapped the imported damaged consignments to enable insurance claims and tracked suppliers who provided damaged consignments.
